Podcast

The podcast RSS feed on my blogline account is Business Trends for Success - PODCAST #8

As cell phone use is a common distraction in libraries, my interest was piqued on this idea:

Private Yapping Booth or Cell Zone Booth. A sound-resistent cell phone booth that lets you yap away in public, in private. Libraries, airports, restaurants and and other entertaining venues can benefit from this.

For our purpose, the positives are:

1. Patrons who may be offended being asked to go outside of the library to talk on their cell phone, can have the option of using the private booth.
2. We keep the patrons in the establishment. Often times, patrons leave the building and do not return.
3. Posters/programs/information of what's happening at the library can be displayed in the booth.
4. Other patrons are not disturbed by cell phone conversation.
